Liquid Truffle

To modify the recipe to the consistency of our Liquid Truffle, the hot sipping chocolate served at our Chocolate Lounge & Chocolate Factory, reduce the milk to 4 oz (1/2 cup). Or if you're feeling extra decadent, substitute half & half. As the mixture heats, stir gently with a rubber spatula to avoid scorching on the bottom. When it reaches a simmer (begins to bubble), whisk vigorously for 30 seconds. Proceed with the recipe.

Spicy Hot Chocolate

Whisk in 1/8 tsp cinnamon and a pinch of cayenne to the mixture as it simmers to add a kick of spice to your hot chocolate. Feelin hot hot HOT!

Bourbon Hot Chocolate

Make hot chocolate per recipe. Remove the pan from heat and stir in 1/2 oz bourbon. Pour into mug.

Snuggle under a blanket & enjoy!

Lavender Hot Chocolate

Heat the milk to a simmer. Add 2 tsp lavender buds and let sit for 5 minutes. Strain the milk and continue with the recipe (you may need to add a little more cream to bring it back up to 6 oz). Inhale, exhale, it's going to be ok.

Maple Smoked Salt

Whisk in 2 tsp maple syrup to the mixture as it simmers.
After you pour into the mug, sprinkle with smoked salt.
